Imagine a piece of artwork without actually seeing it, but using the remaining four senses to grasp the artist’s expression. Last spring local artist, Trina Bacon brought to life, The Color of Blind, a dream many years in the making, to create a multi-sensory art show where the blind can share in the experience.This Contemporary Art Month, previous artists and new ones have procured works to continue fueling the momentum for this event in hopes to further Bacon’s mission. Local names such as Robert Tatum, Andy Benavides, Cat Quintanilla, Russell Stephenson, along with up and coming artist, Daniela Riojas will be taking on the daring task to display their work for this anticipated audience.
